This department coordinates all administrative matters of the Ministry and keeps the Minister informed; manages all personnel of the Ministry; manages all finances of the Ministry; coordinates all logistics, supplies and inter-faces with the Minister on same.
Works closely with all Assistant Minster in planning and coordinating their administrative activities. Supervises the Personnel Director who handles all job applications; Assist in the preparation of the Ministry's budget in association with the Deputy Minister for Operations and Planning and Development.
Supervises the Director of Finance and Procurement, who is responsible for all finances of the ministry, preparation of the budget, procurement in general, management of equipment and logistics, among others.
The department also oversees the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) section, ensuring that all technological resources are effectively utilized to support the Ministry’s operations. This includes managing IT infrastructure, implementing software solutions, and ensuring data security and compliance.
